Canoe from Langdorp to Betekom (Demer)

Discover the Demer valley by canoe and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! The trip starts in Langdorp and ends in Betekom.

START LOCATION: Langdorpsesteenweg 297, 3201 Langdorp (Sint-Pieterskerk)  

END LOCATION: Begijnendijksesteenweg 221, 3200 Betekom

Go down the Demer with a 3-person canoe with a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 3 people. The trip takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes for a trip of 7 kilometers. (minimum age 6 years old but 10 years old is recommended)

Returning from Betekom to Langdorp is possible with your own transportation. It is not obligatory to return to the start location. It is possible to return directly to your own destination after arrival at the endpoint with your own transport.  

Own transporation:

It is possible to take your own transportation back to the start location or to return directly to your own destination after arrival at the endpoint.
