INFORMATION ABOUT ACTIVITIES
1. Canoe trip to Heverlee:
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Dyle valley. The trip starts in Korbeek-Dijle and ends in Heverlee, just before the Arenberg Castle.
Go down the Dyle with a 3-person canoe with a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 3 people. The trip takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes for a trip of 6,5 kilometers.
You can return to The Shelter on foot or by own transportation (private buscompany).
2. Archery Tag
Archery Tag is an active arrow and bowgame where you try to shoot out players from the other team on a field with obstacles. The bow is limited in strength, arrows are equipped with a soft tip and every player gets a face mask. This makes the game very safe. We start the activity with a short initiation followed by target practice and team games.
3. Boulderwall climbing:
A Boulderwall is a low climbingwall without rope- or girdle-safety. The students follow an initiation in Boulderwall climbing with a variation of individual challenges and teamgames on the wall.
Sportday 2 is available for groups of minimum 50 and maximum 80 students with a minimum age of 10 years old.
Price per student: € 23,00
The price includes three activities per student including the necessary equipment and guidance by our supervisors for the canoe trip, as well as active supervision for the Boulderwall climbing. When choosing this package, the teachers/supervisors of the school are responsible for the execution of Archery Tag. They are required to actively participate during the canoe trip and Boulderwall climbing.
Per 10 students one accompanying teacher can participate for free (ex. 30 students = 3 accompanying teachers for free).
