Balenberg Sportsday 1

GENERAL INFORMATION

Location: Sven Nys Cycling Center, Balenbergstraatje 11, 3128 Tremelo

Balenberg Sportsday 1 is available for students with a minimum age of 10 years and contains following activities: 

1. BMX
2. Tree Climbing
3. Archery Tag
4. Kickbiketrip

The group is divided into two groups: one group for BMX and Tree Climbing (with subdivision into 2 groups) and one group for Archery Tag and Kickbike (with subdivision into 2 groups). The groups switch after the lunchbreak.

Minimum 40 to maximum 60 students for this sportday. 

INFORMATION ABOUT ACTIVITIES

1. BMX

We introduce the BMX on the pumptrack of the Sven Nys Cycling Center. All participants get a BMX and protection gear.

2. Tree Climbing

Outdoor climbing without a rock wall! We have equipped high trees with grips and routes which go up to 10 meters. Perfect for a sporty climbingsession in the healty open air.

3. Archery Tag

Archery Tag is an active arrow and bowgame where you try to shoot out players from the other team on a field with obstacles. The bow is limited in strength, arrows are equipped with a soft tip and every player gets a face mask. This makes the game very safe. We start the activity with a short initiation followed by target practice and team games.

4. Kickbiketrip

The Kickbiketrip is a challenging and sportive activity with a large scooter/step. All participants get a Kickbike and a helmet for the trip.

PRICE SPORTDAY

Balenberg Sportsday 1 is available for groups of minimum 40 and maximum 60 students with a minimum age of 10 years old.

Price per student: € 29,00

The price includes four activities per student including the necessary equipment and guidance, as well as active supervision by our supervisors of Tree Climbing and BMX. When choosing this package, the teachers/supervisors of the school are responsible for Archery Tag and the Kickbiketrip. They are required to actively participate during Tree Climbing and BMX.

Per 10 students one accompanying teacher can participate for free (ex. 50 students = 5 accompanying teachers for free).

The price includes Use of terrains - Use of bathrooms - First Aid material available - Free visit of the center during the sportday - Possibility to use indoor room for lunch in case of rainy weather

EXAMPLE DAY PLANNING

Below you can find an example dayplanning based on the chosen sportday. The planning can be adapted based on the foreseen planning of the school. 

Information example school:

• Arrival of the school between 9AM - 10AM
• Departure of school at 3PMumber of students: 50

Planning based on information:

• Start of the sportday based on time of arrival at 10AM
• End of the sportday based on time of departure at 3PM
• Division groups: 25 students per group and minimum 2 teachers to accompany each group

Example day planning with division into two groups: 

GROUP 1 (25+2)

10AM – 12.15PM: Division into 2 groups for 1) BMX and 2) Tree Climbing (switch after 1h with a 15 min. break in between the switch).

12.15PM - 12.45PM: Lunchbreak (+ short visit center)

12.45PM - 3PM: Division into 2 groups for 1) Archery Tag and 2) Kickbiketrip (switch after 1h with a 15 min. break in between the switch).

GROUP 2 (25+2)

10AM - 12.15PM: Division into 2 groups for 1) Archery Tag and 2) Kickbiketrip (switch after 1h with a 15 min. break in between the switch).

12.15PM - 12.45PM: Lunchbreak (+ short visit center)

12.45PM - 3PM: Division into 2 groups for 1) BMX and 2) Tree Climbing (switch after 1h with a 15 min. break in between the switch).
