FAQ
What if the weather is bad?
Activities continue even in rainy weather.
Only in case of extremely bad weather conditions such as heavy rainfall causing a high water level (risk of flooding) or stormy weather conditions such as thunderstorms can the activity be cancelled by us. In that case, the activity will be postponed by a number of minutes, hours or date. This can only be determined on the day itself. We will of course do this in consultation with you. You can find more information in our general terms and conditions.
Is it canoe or kayak?
We offer both canoe and kayak for the descent. The main difference between the two is that the paddle of a canoe has a single blade and not like that of a kayak, which has a double blade (you can paddle with both sides of the paddle). The kayak is provided for 1 participant, our canoe for 3 participants.
Do I have to wear a life jacket?
A life jacket is mandatory to wear during the descents, both for children and adults. A life jacket is a buoyancy aid, keeps you warm and provides protection. Attention, a life jacket is not a life jacket!
