MTB for Kids Ardennes

Are your kids experienced mountainbikers and looking for a new challenge? Discover our third MTB for Kids camp in the Ardennes!

Participants are accompanied by qualified mountainbike-instructors during technique-trainingsessions on expert-level and trips in the woods of the Ardennes in the Province of Luxemburg! An adventurous and sportive camp for experienced bikers between the ages of 13 and 16-years old.

When does this camp take place?

Monday 31 July to Friday 4 August 2023

How is it organised?

This camp consists of five trainingdays with four overnight-stays at our location in the Province of Luxemburg, near Durbuy. We start the week at 9AM and end it at 4PM at our camplocation. During this week we make trips in the surroundings of our location and work on our mountainbike-technique on challenging tracks and trails. We alternate between active trips on our bike and other outdooractivities in the surroundings!

INCLUDED in this camp:

OVERNIGHT-STAY in tents on a campsite with the necessary accommodation
MEALS (4x breakfast - 4x lunch - 4x diner)
GUIDANCE before, during and after mountainbiking from qualified mountainbike-instructors
EXTRA OUTDOOR-ACTIVITIES
TECHNICAL SUPPORT for bikes and ASSISTANCE for participants
TRANSPORTATION FOR MATERIAL to and from our location (bike incl.)
INFOSESSION before the camp for all participants on Tuesday 27/06/2023 at 7:30pm

Price for a week: € 445,00 per mountainbiker

Not included: A mountainbike - Material for the overnight-stay (tents excl.) - Extra snacks and drinks - Transportation to and from the camplocation (more info during the infosession) - Personal Accident Insurance (more info)

Register your son or daughter for one or more camps before 02/01/2023 and get a € 5,00 discount on each registration!

What is the camp can't take place due to COVID-19 measures?

If a camp can't take place, you'll receive a voucher for every registration for the paid amount. This voucher can be used for the registration in another camp (with free places) in the following holiday period 2023 or the following year 2024 until one year after the registration date.

With this voucher you can choose from the complete offer which means it doesn't connect with only one theme camp. EXAMPLE: If your 10-year old son was registered for the MTB for Kids Basecamp in Easter holiday, but it has been cancelled due to COVID-19 measures, you can register him for the same camp or the Pirates of the Dyle camp during Summer holiday 2023.

Attention: If the new camp has a higher price range, the difference needs to be paid. If the new camp has a lower price range, the difference will be refunded.

More than mountainbiking during the holidays?

Discover the MTB Experience Kids/Adults club operation of the MTB Experience Club, partner of The Shelter.

As active members of the club, the young adult mountainbikers can participate in the rides, weekends and holidays with the adult operation of the club with the condition that they are accompanied by at least one adult member of their family.

The club is a member of Cycling Vlaanderen, which means the young members are member of the federation and benefit from all the advantages including an accident insurance!

Young adults can also be a passive member of the club if they don't participate in the weekly rides but they can still enjoy the other advantages of the membership!
