SURROUNDINGS

In the heart of the village of Sint-Agatha-Rode, 7 km from The Shelter, you will find an old farmhouse dating back to 1895, located opposite a majestic plane tree. Once one of the village’s 40 inns, it is now once again open to the public!

Our house is set in a beautiful, protected green area with forests, meadows, rivers, a bird reserve and the natural landscape of the Dijle Valley. Well-known landmarks in the region include The Shelter, the Meerdaalwoud, the Zoete Waters, Walibi, Wavre and Leuven.

ACCOMMODATION

The guest rooms are arranged as separate living units within the former farmhouse. We named the rooms after the four natural elements:

“Earth” is the most spacious studio, where the clay-plastered walls create a sense of calm. This studio includes a bedroom with a double bed, a table for 4 to 6 people, a kitchenette, TV, a side room with adult bunk beds, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. This is our favourite room for families!

Studio “Water” offers views over the Dijle Valley. This studio also features a double space (not separated) with a double bed, a table for 4 to 6 people, a kitchenette, TV and a private bathroom.

Room “Air” is the room with the strongest connection to the outdoors, thanks to its large skylight. It is a small, cosy room, also with clay-plastered walls, a double bed and a private bathroom.

There is a shared guest dining room with a table for 8 people, a functional antique gas stove, microwave and TV.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
