MTB Experience Club - ADULTS

The MTB Experience Adults Club is part of the MTB Experience Club vzw.

As active members of the club mountainbikers can participate in the weekly rides. We work together on our physical condition and technique during adventurous trips through forests and fields. During the rides FUN is key. 

It's also possible to register as a passive member of the club. The participation in the weekly rides is not included but, just as the active members, the insurance via cycling federation Cycling Vlaanderen is included. Mountainbikers can enjoy their fantastic hobby with the necessary insurance!

The club is suited for adults from 18-years old. Youngsters between the ages of 13 and 17 can join the group if they are accompanied by an adult family member.

How does the club work for active members? 

The weekly ride takes place every Sunday throughout the year. The starttime and finishtime depend on the number of kilometers, the composition of the group, the weather conditions and the intended purpose of the ride. 

Next to the trips we offer the possibility to participate in MTB-Weekends, MTB-holidays and extra activities during the year at advantageous rates.

We combine different mountainbike disciplines and a fun group atmophere is the central concept in the club.

Where do the rides for active members take place? 

The base of the club is located near Leuven. We start our base rides from the location of The Shelter in Korbeek-Dijle and discover the environnement of the Dyle valley and Meerdaal forest. At The Shelter members can park their car on the private parking, where they can use the facilities and rinse their bikes after the training. 

Beside the basic rides we often visit the Ardennes, the Kempen, the valley of the Demer and the Zoniën forest. 

Mountainbikers need to bring their own mountainbike and a wearing a helmet is obligatory to participate. 

What does the membership cost? 

Membership for ACTIVE members JANUARY - DECEMBER 2023: 

INCLUDED in the MTB Experience Adults membership: 

• PARTICIPATION in every planned weekly ride during the year
• MEMBERSHIP (recreational) at the bike federation Cycling Vlaanderen insurance included
• USE of FACILITIES: dressingrooms, bathroom and rinse-off area for mountainbikes at The Shelter
• PARTICIPATION in extra activities, holidays and weekends at adventageous rates

Price per year: € 55,00 per mountainbiker*

Not included: A mountainbike and equipment - Snacks and drinks during the training - Extra activities organized by the club throughout the year - Teamoutfit -  

*Would you like to join as a family? Then the price per year for active members is € 60,00 per family! Valid for minimum 2 people from one family (living at the same adres). 

Membership for PASSIVE members JANUARY - DECEMBER 2023: 

INCLUDED in the MTB Experience Adults membership: 

• MEMBERSHIP (recreational) at the bike federation Cycling Vlaanderen insurance included
• PARTICIPATION in extra activities, holidays and weekends at adventageous rates

Price per year: € 40,00 per mountainbiker*

Not included: Participation as an active member - Extra activities organized by the club throughout the year - Teamoutfit - 

*Would you like to join as a family? Then the price per year for active members is € 45,00 per family! Valid for minimum 2 people from one family (living at the same adres).

When does this membership start and what does the ride-calender look like in 2023?

The one year membership of the MTB Experience Adults Club for active and passive members runs between januari and december. Discover our calender 2023 soon!.

As an active member you can participate in the weekly rides on Sunday. At least one week before the weekly ride you'll receive information about the location and starting hour of the following ride via the WhatsApp group. Ideas for weekly rides are always welcome!
